This department is the only secondary specializedsectionof oral mucosa with independent organizational system inShandong. It is a place where a master's degree of oral medicine is awarded.

Relyingon professionaldepartment oforalpathology,laboratory andradiology,weactively carryout immunopathological diagnosis and immunoexamination of oral mucosal diseases.Over the years, the comprehensive therapy advocated by the department has achieved good results in the diagnosis and treatment of oral mucosal diseases. Its technologieshavereached thehighprofessional level in China.

The department has a well-known professor, achief physician,twodeputy chief physician, one attending physician and one resident.ProfessorLingDisheng, a nationally renowned expert, has been a doctor forabout sixtyyears. Hehasconsiderableexpertise in the treatment ofintractablediseases oforalmucosal.
